Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), Jessie (Joan Cusack) and the rest of their toy family are back — and this time, they face their biggest challenge yet: technology. When Bonnie receives a brand-new tablet device called LilyPad (voiced by Greta Lee), it arrives with its own disruptive ideas about what's best for their kid. LilyPad is smart, entertaining, and dangerously addictive — and she's pulling Bonnie further and further away from her beloved toys.
As playtime gets replaced by screen time, Woody, Buzz and Jessie must unite like never before to compete with the unstoppable world of tech and prove that real toys still matter. Adding to the chaos, fifty commemorative Buzz Lightyear action figures — all stuck in toy mode and searching for Star Command — cause mayhem for everyone involved.
