After the events of Pushpa: The Rise (2021), Pushpa Raj (Allu Arjun) has established himself as the unchallenged king of the red sandalwood smuggling empire in the forests of Seshachalam, Andhra Pradesh. He commands absolute loyalty from his gang and has built a vast criminal network that stretches across India and into international markets — including Japan.
However, his nemesis, SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat IPS (Fahadh Faasil), who was publicly humiliated at the end of Part 1, has not forgotten the insult. He goes deep undercover — disguising himself as a labourer — to infiltrate Pushpa's network from the inside. Shekhawat's plan is meticulous and patient: he wants to destroy Pushpa completely, not just arrest him.
Meanwhile, Pushpa's wife Srivalli (Rashmika Mandanna) remains the emotional anchor of his life. Their marriage is tested by Pushpa's dangerous world, but their love is fierce and unbreakable. On the other side, powerful political forces — including local politicians and rival criminal factions — begin to plot against Pushpa's empire as it grows too large to ignore.
The film's showpiece is an electrifying 20-minute Jaathara (festival) sequence — a massive choreographed spectacle of action, music and mass elevation that became one of the most talked-about scenes in Indian cinema in 2024. The film concludes with a jaw-dropping climax that hints at Pushpa 3: The Rampage.
